Plantation Shutters are one of the most elegant products on the market today. They are available in 2 1/2", 3 1/2" and 4 1/2" slats. Plantation Shutters can add a great deal of warmth and beauty to your home. The 2 1/2" slats tend to give your home the old plantation style which works great with almost any decor. If the view outside is important then the larger 3 1/2" or 4 1/2" slats are usually the best solution. When rotated to the open position there is more space between the slats so your exterior view is not obstructed.
