Mr. Johnson ordered a Bamboo Folding Panel to cover the sliding door in his living room. The pattern is Sunrise Natural. The valance was ordered from a different vendor but we do offer Classic and Scalloped Valances either made from the same material or from any of the fabrics in our Exclusive Roller Shade Collection.

"Received and installed, Thanks for the service."
T. Johnson, Destin, FL

Mr. Decker ordered a Mylar Shade color Gray-Silver-Gray w/a Cassette Valance. If you enlarge the picture you'll see the other window on his deck that doesn't yet have the shade installed. These truly are sunglasses for your window.

"Hey Shawn - my new shade looks and fits great. The cassette is slimmer but not enough to worry about - the actual mylar looks identical to my previous order. Really pleased with my purchase and would recommend you to anyone that asks."
D. Decker, Erie, CO

Ms. Major is an Interior Design & Redesign Specialist in Baton Rouge, LA. The picture showcases one of her most recent projects. The shade installed is a Classic Style Bamboo Shade from our exclusive Premium Collection and the pattern is Sunrise Natural.

"I deal with Shawn Bushway and he is always most helpful. The Blindsshopper process is very easy and I've never had a blind that didn't fit."
C. Major artvark, ltd. LLC, Baton Rouge, LA

Mr. Lever ordered Mylar Shades in color Bronze/Silver, which has an almost 'mirror like' silver reflective backing.

"We currently have nearly identical shades in the same material that are 10 years old. They are wonderful, as they reflect the sun's heat back out even through low-e glass. They have been excellent for us, as was the service in helping us find the exact right reflectivity product. We need to replace them because we changed the patio doors so the size is now incorrect."
J. Lever, Andover, MN

Welcome to BlindsShopper.com

We have been an Online Retailer since 2000 and the industry has changed quite a lot for two reasons: (1) the economy and (2) cheap imports. Before 2008, the key to being successful was achieving a first page ranking on any search engine for any of the major brands, e.g., Comfortex®, Hunter Douglas®, Horizons®, Bali®, Graber®, Levolor®, Kirsch®, and so on. After 2008, American-made and Brand Name no longer mattered as much when it came to shopping online - instead, customers looking for a cellular shade wanted it cheap and fast.

While these changes were occurring, Brand Name Manufacturer's turned back to their older base - the local Brick and Mortar and Shop-at-Home Designer, who for a long time struggled to make things work because they wouldn't compete with the volume and pricing that online sales offered. With this change in focus, most of the top manufacturers in the industry have stopped allowing their brands(not products) to be sold online. However, not wanting to entirely close the door to the sheer volume Online Retailers generate, they went about creating private label programs - different color names, different pictures and different box content but everything else remained the same in terms of where the products were made and the type of warranty offered.

Changing to private label meant that the major manufacturers could preserve their brands for local brick and mortar stores and shop-at-home designers. At the same time, because we're no longer paying for the brand name,, it gives Online Retailers the opportunity to sell brand name quality at a price that allows us to compete with cheap imports. It's a win for everyone - the manufacturers, the local retailers, the online retailers and customers regardless of how they choose to shop.
